What: General Studies
Where: Room 1140 building B (next to the park)

Preschool/elementary: 800AM - 915AM (AGES 4-8)
Middle school: 915AM - 1030PM (AGES 9-12)

Ray entered the schoolroom, pack on his back, looking around to see who was there. He'd kissed Mummy outside and told her that she didn't need to walk him in, but the truth was he wasn't feeling as brave and outgoing as usual. Not with everything going on with Daddy.

He sighed and walked to a desk, not sure what he was supposed to do next.

Shego looked at Ray, and smiled at him. She walked over and knelt next to him, brushing his hair with a kind smile.

"Hey, kiddo. You must be Ray. You excited?"

"Mom!" Shego looked up as Anna entered with Sam, and waved to the two.

"Find a seat-- not in the back, Firefly-- and be relatively quiet for a bit, okay? Hey, Sam." The girls nodded, and Sam waved back.

As Riley entered, he gathered a ton of supplies before heading to a desk in the far back. A BlackAgumon followed him, and he nodded to the Patamon, Impmon, and Pagumon already in the room. Riley didn't say anything about him.

"Yo niggas, what it do? Y'all bitches ready to learn?" Shego stopped that quick. She grabbed his ear, twisting.

"No cursing in my classroom, Riley Freeman."
"OW. OW. EY BITCH, HOW YOU KNOW MY- OKAY I'LL STOP LET ME GO." Satisfied, Shego released him, and as she walked away he glared (after checking out her ass, of course).

Ray smiled back at the pretty lady, just a little shyly. "Hi, Miss Go." Mum had made sure he knew the teacher's name.

At her question he shrugged just a little. "Yeah, I guess so."

"Well, don't worry. You'll have fun." She reached into her bag, pulling out a stack of colouring books.

"Your mom told me you liked to draw, so I got you these. You can draw while you wait, if you'd like." With another smile, she moved to discipline Riley for talking loudly to BlackAgumon.

Samantha walked over curiously, waving happily at Ray.

"Hi! I'm Sam! What's your name?"

Good, other kids were showing up. Ray gave Sam a smile that was brighter than the one he'd just given the teacher.

"I'm Ray. Ray Macartney." He glanced down at the coloring books. "D'you want to draw?"

Sam nodded enthusiastically, Patamon flying over and landing on her head. She grabbed a blue crayon, and began to sketch Patamon.

But blue.

He frowned.

"Tsukaimon?..." Sam glared, and he shut up.

Anna walked over with Impmon in tow, and blinked.

"Hi! I'm Anna Possible-Go. Can I draw too?"

"Sure!" Ray answered Anna out of pure reflex, his attention taken up with the two creatures with the girls. He was pretty sure one of them had just spoken ...

Offering Anna her choice of books and crayons, he asked, "Are those Digimon?"

"Hi. Nice to meetcha."

"Cool!" They really did talk. Ray accepted Impmon's handshake politely and started to draw him in purple.

"I'm Ray Macartney. My mum and dad are Caroline and Mac, and my other daddy is Guy."

"Miss Caroline is really nice." Sam smiled. Anna brightened.

"You have two daddies? I have two mommies! The teacher is my mom, and Kim Possible is my mommy." Anna smiled. Impmon drew a large cookie, and Anna was drawing a lion (Leormon). Samantha continued to draw a blue Patamon.

Ray beamed at Sam for her compliment to his mum. When Anna described her moms, his eyes widened a bit. "Do you have a dad too?"

He continued as he coloured in Impmon's red gloves and scarf, "See, my daddy died before I was born, and Mummy wound up with Daddy Guy. But it turns out my real daddy, Daddy Mac, came here somehow, and now we're all here, so I have both my dads."

Ray's drawing hand came to a stop as he remembered everything that had been worrying him since last night. "But now Daddy Mac has to go into the hospital and get something bad taken out. I ... think Mummy and Daddy Guy are kinda scared." Far easier than admitting he's kinda scared himself.

Anna shook her head.

"I was born using my mom's DNA and nanotechnology. I don't have a daddy." Sam and Anna listened to him, and Anna nodded.

"If he has to get surgery, he should be OK. We have a lot of good doctors here. My nana's a doctor too! She's a brain surgeon!" Anna was proud. Impmon watched Ray draw him with amusement.

Sam bit her lip.

"What's he getting taken out? My daddy is Anakin Skywalker, maybe he can help!"

Allana rubbed her eyes sleepily as she wandered into the classroom. Finally. After she'd clinged to her mother for minutes, wailing that she didn't want to go, what about Amandabeth and waaaaaughhhh.

She stood near the door, with her stuffed animal. She knew Sam...and she knew Miss Shego but still.

She'd never gone to SCHOOL before.
