What: A talk, an explanation, and a cuppa.

It had taken him a few moments to actually find a map and orient himself. Then, the Brigadier had set out through the rather treacherous hallways of the base. Mindful of the threats, he'd kept a hand close by his service revolver. Fortunately, no one had barred his path and there'd been no attackers to hinder him. He'd only gotten turned around once and he'd soon been back on the right track.
Now, he found himself in the library. He peered through the stacks of books, hunting for a familiar face. He paused, calling out in a loud whisper (it was a library after all), "Miss Smith? Are you here?"
