There are enough abandoned houses you can stay in, although how comfortable they are is questionable. If you don't mind sleeping in a moldy hut that possibly has giant spiders lurking in the shadows, the houses near the hospital seem to be empty.

That's true. I didn't even realize I needed sleep... I didn't before.

As for the spiders or any other creature here, it might be wise to get yourself a weapon if you can't use those spells of yours. Scalpels do the job until you have something better.

... I don't know. I'm... pretty sure I'm human. But I was trapped in an online game before I came here. I didn't sleep, really, but sometimes I'd sit down and black out for a bit.

Wavemasters can't wield This character isn't built for I don't know that I could really use it effectively. ... I do have a staff, though.

...character? Anyway, if you have your staff, use it. If you do want something sharp, those monster nurses in the abandoned hospital carry them. If you defeat those, you can collect their scalpels.
