the streetlights always shut off when i travel below them. but i got to see amber and we traded tales on how the beginning of the week had treated us. good, we both agreed. and we walked hand in hand to pick up two loaves of bread, one to eat on the way home and the other to go with our dinner. she left tragically early and i definitely need more of her.
and i got to see parker and we finalized the now-very-active plan to murder his mother (or at least make her let him hang out with us.) i really like pea coats and it makes me smile whenever he wears his. you can all bet that i'll be stealing it when he moves in.
the kinks are always great music and ashely is now a great girl. i'm more then happy to have transgressed the bestfriendsgirlfriend level with her - and i hope to join her walking into opaque pieces of sheet metal (again) in the near future.
there was a man selling dinosaur themed crayons for 5 dollars...but we're convinced he stole them.
there was a woman in a sequined shirt who shook and ground her body against poles.
there was a girl on stage with not much of a shirt and duck tape covering her nipples.
there was a sign on the window of the late cafe quebec that made my little heart soar. they are renovating and reopening in the near future.
oh, downtown on a wednesday.
in other news: the southwest finally woke up and realized it was already october, and if they wanted to be cold by christmastime that they better start getting ready. thank the lord for wind and chill - i love this more then any of you could possibly imagine.
