how are you

how are you, how are you, how are you, are you okay, can't you see, shut up
or a much better summary: SM town party, with appearances from those who quit and disbanded. Alcohol, tea and a mix of sarcasm and cockiness. You have been warned.

It narrows down to the two of them and Yoona drinking her heart out somewhere. Yuri notes in her head to buy excedrins, aspirins and coffee before they all go back to their dorm.
Yesung doesn't know how to start a conversation with Yuri so he waits for her to start instead. But she doesn't say anything either. They weren't usually the quiet pair.
“You know…” He starts. But he doesn't really know what to say after.
“What?” Yuri mumbles. She looks at him and smiles. “I don't know.”
Then he notices that something about her is different. Her tone is soft. And she doesn't carry herself like how she normally does. Like she's wounded and he's poking her scars but she doesn't give a care because it hurts either way.
“I didn't know you have this side to you.”
“You don't know me well enough.”
He doesn’t argue. He never really liked having to explain to people who don’t listen or to people who would never give him the chance. Both apply to her. Truthfully, Yesung doesn’t really need words to tell her.
“Is everything all right?” Yesung leans forward, not really expecting a reply since his lips would soon stop all the words that she plans to say. Because most of the time, that works for both of them.
But today they both jump back a little in surprise when the door slams noisily because of Changmin. Yesung stares at him quizzically but he just continues to storm around the room, probably looking for Yoona.
Yuri takes her escape when Changmin forgot to close the door and unfortunately for Yesung, she didn’t leave breadcrumbs for him to trail after her.

“What the hell were you doing there? What the fuck is up with you?”
He’s just shouting. Yoona can identify even when she’s drunk that he really isn’t demanding for an answer. “The fuck is up with you.” She mumbles under her breath.
Changmin is a lot calmer now. If this was two years ago, then it would turn out to be such a mess. He used to be such a mess. Yoona was careful back then. Because has a bomb in his soul - the one with a timer and with every tick and tock, he grows impatient that he explodes on his own.
Yoona has the control in her hand now. “What the hell do you want to hear? What do you want me to say?”
“I don’t know.”
She does. Other than that fact, she doesn’t keep him waiting again. Because Yoona knows that her lips give more comfort to him than useless words he doesn’t even believe. Later on, she breaks the kiss and asks, “Are you okay now?”
It isn’t the “I love you,” they’re both stubborn to say but it will do. Changmin already knows anyway. Yoona definitely knows.
He bends his knees and answers with another kiss.

Jessica stays in the pool area. Swimming pool, that is. Because the other one is not her thing, maybe Seohyun’s but definitely not hers. She dips her feet in the cold water and flails them back and forth until she hears her call alert tone. (Run Devil Run, to remind Tiffany that half of the world are men, it makes no difference if you’re gone) She fishes her phone out and didn’t bother looking at the caller id.
“Hey, Jessica...” She recognizes the voice from the other line as Soyeon’s. “I’m not disturbing you or anything, right?”
“What if you are?”
“Then get outta there and listen to me.”
Jessica laughs. It’s the same girly, ear splitting, high pitched, thin laugh that can cut through air. Soyeon moves her phone away from her ear for a while.
“So…did you miss me?” And Soyeon can almost see the look on her face when she said that.
Soyeon nods. Yes, I miss you. “No. I miss Eunjung.”
“You don’t have to be shy, Soyeon. I miss you isn’t really that difficult to say.”
“Do you miss me, Sooyeon?”
“I miss you.” And her laugh doesn’t interject their conversation anymore. Jessica sighs. “If you miss Eunjung so much then you should call her.”
“Yea, maybe I miss you, Jessica. How have you been?”
“Better now.” Soyeon can almost hear Jessica smile.

Distance is a good thing. That’s what Donghae always convinces himself into believing. Space is what people want. Time heals all wounds. Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
“How are you these days? You should take care of your health, Sica. Are you resting enough lately? I heard your new song too. It sounds really great. You guys really improved speaking in Japanese. If I need help then I can ask you to teach me a few words, right? Right?”
I wish you’re mine again.
Time heals all wounds but why is his still hurting? “You seem fine without me.”

“How is it being leader of eight girls?” Yunho asks, looking up from his cup of iced tea.
And Taeyeon nearly spat out hers. She coughs and wipes her mouth with the back of her hand. “PMS and bitch fights happen but I guess it could be worse.”
The awkward air is there again. Momentarily gone and magically reappearing. Taeyeon isn’t especially fond of Yunho and if she remembers correctly, he isn’t especially fond of her either.
“Yea, I mean if you have an alcoholic, a sleazy bastard, a soccer fanatic and a snarky shikshin, then it’s a lot more chaotic.”
“You miss them, huh?”
“More than I thought I would. I still have the snarky shikshin but he’s all grown up now. He doesn’t need a leader anymore.” He pauses. “Do you miss that soccer fanatic?”
“I thought it was taboo to mention that.”
Yunho shrugs and crosses his legs. “Is love taboo now too?”
“Who told you it was love?” Taeyeon sends him glares but he doesn’t seem to mind.
“I called him. I told him to stop practicing soccer because you’ll call.” He slides a piece of paper to the opposite side of the table and walks away.
On his way out, he glances at his phone screen to see a text message from his favorite female senior: /Is everyone having fun? How are you doing? I wish I was there :(/
/I wish you were here./
He presses send and looks back for a moment, hoping his match making went well. Unfortunately for Jung Yunho, Kim Taeyeon isn’t easily moved.

Purple colored punch, pink colored punch, and silly red and blue cups; there are too many options.
“It’s just punch, Jinri.”
Sulli snaps her head to the direction of his voice and blinks at Taemin. “Do you want me to punch you?”
Taemin jerks away and almost lost his grip on his cup. The plastic slips a little but maybe that’s half because of his palms sweating from nervousness.
“What did I do wrong this time?”
“It’s your face, Taemin, and your height.”-She gets the red cup and pours the purple punch- “But mostly your face.”
“What’s wrong with my face? My fans think it’s adorable.”
Sulli stares at him, lips pressed in a straight line. “Okay, let’s see that adorable face of yours.”
“No. Shut up, you still won’t date me anyway.” Taemin pouts a.k.a makes an adorable face anyway.
“I’ll date you if you stop looking like Heechul oppa.”
“I can’t stop being attractive, Jinri, this is just how I am.”
“Right,” Sulli rolls her eyes and turns her back to him. She takes a sip from her punch. She still has a lot of options anyway.
