Break After Break
Leaving home was a bit difficult. I do miss my mom a lot and I miss just getting to hang out with her and working with her.
But, that said, being back is nice. Granted right now I'm not at school, I'm visiting my grandparent's wednesday-saturday. Aside from or heater catching on fire as soon as I got back and our room being pretty cold the two days I was back, it felt nice to be back again. My first day/night back was just really nice. And I think I know why... I got back to being happy about being at school again. No stress over finals and being done with school before it actually ended. No being homesick. It was really nice. I just felt like there was this huge weight gone and that I could just enjoy myself. Imagine that.
Anyhow, as I said, I'm at the grandparent's for a few days, visiting since I didn't see them at all over break. And I shall be bringing a car back with me on Saturday. yay! Today I think I need to go shopping for a few things. Like socks. Somehow, there is suddenly a shortage of socks. I don't know how that happened, but okay. I guess it is just time to buy some more. And sadly, I need to go replace my favorite pair of jeans as they've lost a considerable amount of color over the years and have recently begun to feel more like tshirt material rather than jean material. And, as I have found in the past, this is actually the time to buy new ones rather than wait until they start to feel less like tshirt material and more like no material at all.
Socks and jeans aside now, I would like to say that jterm rocks! I'll admit now that I had felt a bit lazy with taking a two credit class and having 5 day weekends but I can say that after going to the class, I don't feel that lazy at all. We had a quiz our first day and have our first news story due on monday. The class is going to be a bit demanding, but also fun I think. So far, I really enjoy it and with the type of discussions we have in it, 3 hours go by really fast! So in theory I have 2 days of class per week, 1 day of homework, and paying attention to the news everyday, the rest is free time. So, if you'd like to do something sometime this month, just lemme know.
Anything else? Aside from the fact that it is now time for cup of coffee number two? Hmm, I don't think so. Have a lovely day.
