Another gay crush..a bit different this time
Thursday night I went to visit my friend working at Friendly's. She is gay and apparently met this other gay couple about a week ago and when I went to visit one of the girls was there, cheryl. We were both there just to stop by and visit with our friend. We talked a bit and then she asked if I was gay, I said no, because well, I have a boyfriend and I don't know what my situation is. We just talked the whole time and I found her pretty cool, and cute. When my friend was out of work we just drove around for a bit, I was telling her how everyone thinks I'm gay and happened to be ranting about how annoyed I am with some things guys do. She asked me for my number at the end of the night so we could go play pool even if our friend was working. I gave it to her. She told our friend, Erika, that she thought I was cool and we should all hang out again. The next day I was getting lunch with Erika and her gf and she called Cheryl to come eat with us, she did. She texted me afterward and we talked a bit. She has a crazy gf I guess who checks her phone so we can't text much but I said to her "we can go drink sometime if your girlfriend will let you, ha", and she replied with "she can't get mad, ur straight...but cute, very cute". I guess thats how it all started because I responded back with "well I don't know how straight I am, and your really cute too". The next day Erika and I went to visit her at her work (dunkin donuts) and we talked forever because she was the only one working and was closing. After we left there erika wanted me to go pick up Cheryl's gf to smoke..this is where it gets weird. They told her gf that I am straight and have a bf, but out of nowhere she said to me "if you hit on my girlfriend, i'll kick your ass"(sort of joking around). I think she thinks I'm gay, we did talk a lot about softball, ha. She lives on the same street I grew up on which is really weird, and Cheryl works in my town..Anyway, Cheryl's gf seems to like me because she invited me to play pool with them one night and go to the batting cages, and I mean like me as in a person because Cheryl wants her gf to approve of me so maybe she can hangout with me without her gf getting mad or suspicious. But today her gf found a text in Cheryls phone that accidentally saved as a draft saying something like "I know I shouldn't flirt with you but I do anyway"..it didn't say my name so she doesn't know it was to me. It's only been like 2 days of talking and there is already sort of a problem. I don't want her gf to know it's me she's talking to because 1) I actually like(not like that) her gf, she's cool, and 2) I don't want to ruin Cheryl's relationship. There's a part I always forget too..I AM IN A RELATIONSHIP MYSELF! Her gf goes to FL on wed so hopefully I can see Cheryl more and actually be able to hang out with her and text her without her gf there to be on her ass about it. I am really starting to like her, it's scary, but I'm not going to ignore it. Its becoming all I think about though, especially when I'm with Andy. We are going to play pool Tuesday night, me, erika and her gf, then cheryl and her gf. It's going to be weird and hard because we can't flirt(she's a big flirt), and I somehow "need to act really straight" so her gf doesn't get worried about cheryl having another gay friend. I don't think seeing her and her gf together is really going to bother me, like yeah I like her but I understand she's in a relationship and i know what it's like to be in one and then meet someone else you like(hell, i'm in that same position now and I was with my last bf). Who knows what's going to happen, but I'm excited!
