Dental whinge
This dental fiasco keeps getting more annoying.
This is entirely a whinge so I can get it off my chest:
I've had twenty weeks of tooth death and unenthusiastic attempts to repair me so far.
It's not fun.
After repeated X-rays yesterday, with adamant promises to fix the problem right then and there (which I shouldn't have believed, as they didn't follow through the last three times I paid for them to do so), they finally sent me home with no painkillers, no antibiotics, and a promise to remove my molar on Saturday. I've tried to explain to them this weekend is November Crown, they don't "get it"...
Today is a work day, and I don't GET much work, so in order to PAY for the dentist, I have to take this work. So they phone me thismorning and say they have a cancellation, can I come in at ten? I explain about the fact that I told them several times yesterday that I have work, this was why they didn't want to repair me yesterday because I was going to attempt to work today, I have no idea why they want to change their minds again, I'm really in no state to make a decision, and the painkillers don't work any more, and I'm sick as a dog, and they keep changing their minds and they said they'd take the tooth out three weeks ago and didn't do it, so why should I trust them now...
Actually, no, I just politely said I wasn't psyched up for it and to try someone else.
I'm going to miss NOVEMBER CROWN. Which I am booked and paid for. I'm miserable. And seriously running out of money.
And I can't eat anything till Saturday without really really not enjoying it.
