alright. hissy fit over.
spent the day begging and pleading with my boss's boss, trying to convince her that pulling our sweet little store out of the safety and security of a mall and subjecting it to a cruel and harsh life in a strip mall would not only be detrimental to sales, but also to my mental health. i don't want to leave the mall! i promise, i'll never complain about the shitty foreign techno ever again. i love the mall.
to feel better, i spent money, which makes me feel worse...purchases...
(1) 'system of a down' cd - very much loving it
(2) the book 'michael moore is a big fat stupid white man' ... despite the title (a take on moore's own book, 'stupid white men') it's a touching ode to the truly wonderful genius that is, michael moore ... ouch, sarcasm never hurt like that
yea...not so much linear purchases in the ideological scheme of things. been analyzing my apparent hypocrisy and can only conclude i subscribe to idealistic beliefs and realistic politics. anyways, the book looks really good. it looks at the mental midget's movies, picks apart his editing, and exposes his bias...i'm no hulabaloo film genius, but my limited cinematic knowledge leads me to believe documentaries are supposed to be relatively neutral on the topics they cover, otherwise it's just propaganda. so that's book number 2 on the list, after i finish 'eight men out' - crazy 1919 white sox...and speaking of sox...
i would like to offer my formal apology to all die-hard, red-blooded, red sox fans everywhere. i shot my mouth off to every yankee fan i could just to make them aware of our 6.5 game lead, may be partly responsible for the jinx, and as a result...well, i'll leave it at...6-13, beefed out boomer went 1 1/3 innings
