My drug problem

So those of you who know me can appreciate that I've been diagnosed with ADD and dyslexia. Now, even tho both cases are mild it still mean that while my brain works pretty dern well, the gears don't really turn in the same direction as most others'.
So over the years I've tried a few different medications while going through school and what not. I had decided not to continue with those medications for reasons like depression (Ritalin) and waaaay too much nervous energy (Welbutrin).
But recently I've decided to give the 'ole chemically altered state another go. So, I went out and got myself a prescription for Adderall (which I like off the bat because of the ADD pun in the name). I started out at a very low dose - 5mg timed release - with the option to take up to two a day. So far, it's worked fantastically well. I'd go into the details of how weird it is inside my head and how the meds help, but that's an even longer story.
The one tiiiiiiny little draw back, since I'm taking it mostly for work, is that when I'm taking it for a closing shift that starts at 4 in the afternoon is that it lasts for like TWELVE HOURS!
So yeah...here I am at 7 in the morning still moderately hopped up on low-dose, time release speed.

Not too bad, but I'm thinkin I should probably sleep at some point...
Waaaay better than coffee - but without the pleasant taste and ritual
