This is really weird.

Ooookay then... Really, the memory loss is normal. That's hard to accept, but it happened to all of us when when we first arrived here.

That's what's making it a little bit easier to swallow I guess, that everyone was in the same boat. Doesn't make it any less unnerving, but at least I'm not alone, right?

[That comment, made so nonchalantly, takes a moment to really process in her mind. Glossing over completely at them being father and son--honestly, she could see the resemblance--she simply stared for a moment. Mental... link?]

[Jr. is still just smiling happily, totally unaware of how badly confused he's made Aerith.]

[Inside of her head, she's trying to process this. Mental link? Like ESP? They talk to each other in their own minds? Did people here naturally have this power, and if so, was she capable of it? Was it a familial sort of thing? How did it work? Should she ask?]

[She's trying to figure this out now. He could talk to people psychically, and that concept to her amazed her in a way. This young boy had such an amazing power, but at the same time she felt awkward asking anything, despite wanting to know so much more. Was this something he remembered to do, that others could remember to do? The musing went on for quite a bit, until she saw him staring, and she blinked a few times.]
