This is AMAZING.

HOT. And wonderful. And so very evocative of what Anne would and wouldn't know, and her clear-eyes assessment of her own desire. And her calm maturity teasing out what her actions might mean!

And THE LANGUAGE! It's so EFFORTLESS and so right! "Discover her husband to her." This goes beyond squee into TODDLERFISTS OF GLEE.

You know, that sounds like a delightful family. Depending on how the election goes in November, you might just acquire me, my best friend who is not my girlfriend, but my Imaginary Boyfriend, and possibly a tempestuous adolescent who would like to be an anime bishounen when she grows up. I loved this last night (er, 6 am this morning *G*) and even more this afternoon. This Anne I can SEE as becoming Richard's all-in-all, and the quiet courage it takes for her to become that is beautifully described and illuminated in this piece.
