I apologize for the vagueness of my last post. I sometimes forget that not all of you are on Facebook or Twitter or my personal psychic network...
Kat's dad, Chris, passed away on Thursday evening. We were there with him through the end of the process. And despite the difficulties of the weeks prior, he slipped quietly out amidst champagne drinking and jokes. As Kat said, it seemed like he was waiting to know that the party would go on so he could quietly duck out.
Today we are having an open house for all his neighbors, friends, etc. My favorite feature? The brandy and cigar lounge we are setting up on the balcony. I think Chris would approve...
