Feelin' Like Ani...
haven't listened to Ani in a long while, but she popped into my head today, and it was like an old jaded friend stopped by for a cup of coffee or something. Sorry if I ramble, but I've been up since six this morning, and everyone knows I don't do well before nine. Work sucks. Meeting tomorrow might help with that, but who knows. I just get tired of cleaning up after other people that are getting paid more than me to do a shittier job. bleh*
Anyways...tonight Sandra and I are supposed to get together for some crazy Elvis thing at the Tally Musem. Should be a lot of fun.
James is out of town. He left yesterday for Virginia, to visit his family for the weekend. My over-active sense of honor kept me here so I could go to work and not inconvenience other people. It's nice to get a chance to miss him though, and I've gotten a lot of reading done. I started "To Kill a Mockingbird" yesterday. So far, it's good. Not world-altering yet, but I'm still in the first thrid of the book.
I wanna edit my last story again this weekend, if I get the chance. I want to have it ready to submit for publication before this semester ends. I don't have any time to write really so far this year with Dental Assisting school and all, but that's how it goes I guess. Gotta do the daily grind to earn your daily bread.
Sheila is doing well. Nearly all of her fur has grown back now. She looks like a normal dog now...almost. ;) Pi's still terrified of her, and Sheila still thinks that cats are little dogs and that she can pounce them to make friends. It's cute. Hope they figure eachother out soon so James and I can officially adopt her.
Well, I suppose this entry is long enough. If I updated more often, they'd be shorter...ah well.
