afteriwake who requested Orihime & Rukia -slumber party at
hyouhakuzai-fic "I think that's every thing." Tatsuki said, as she placed the last snack bowl on Orihimie's living room.
It was Orihime's birthday and instead of material gifts, she asked all of her girl friends to come over to her house for the weekend.
"Are you sure you don't want me to cook anything?" Orihime asked, from her place on the floor.
Tatuski shook her head. "It's your birthday Orihime, you shouldn't have to cook on your birthday. That's why I got the snacks."
Orihime smiled. "You're right, Tatsuki-chan."
Tatsuki smiled back. The real reason why she brought the snacks was because Orihime's taste in foods were a little too "adventurous" for Tatsuki and she wanted to enjoy the weekend with her best friend, not be sick the whole time.
Well, enjoy it was much as she could, given the fact that Orhimie had invited Chizuru to the party. Thought truthfully, part of Tatsuki was looking forward to getting to beat up the persistent redhead.
"Let's watch a movie now!" Orihime said.
Chizuru pulled a movie from her bag and handed it to her. "Let's watch this."
"The Incredibly True Adventures of Two Girls in Love" Orihime read the title.
"It's about two girls who meet in high school and fall in love." The bespectacled redhead said.
Tatsuki's fist connected with the side of her head. "We're not watching one of your perverted movies."
"It's not perverted!" Chizuru said, rubbing the side of her head. "Sure, they have sex in it towards the end, but it's--- Ha!" She exclaimed, when she dodged another fist that Tatsuki threw her way. "You won't get me---" A second later, Tatsuki's socked foot connected with her gut. "---again'" she wheezed out.
"Tatsuki-chan, stop." Orihime said. "I'm sure Chizuru-chan's movie is nice. Maybe we'll watch it later."
Chizuru instantly forgot her pain. "Oh Himie-chan, you are too good to me."
When Tatsuki and Chizuru started yelling at each other, Orihime sighed and picked up all the DVDs, before she moved over to where Rukia was trying to set up the sleeping bag that she had "borrowed" from Ichigo.
"What movie would you like to watch Kuchiki-san?" She asked, holding them out so Rukia could see the titles.
The raven haired girl stopped what she was doing and stood. She gave each of the titles a once over, before pointing to one. "This sounds like it should be good."
Orihime turned the DVDs so she could see the title of the one picked out. As she read it, a large grin spread across her face. "That's one of my favourites!"
"Really?"
She nodded. "My brother and I used to watch it all the time when he was still alive. I watch it every year around the time of his death."
Rukia frowned slightly. "I can pick another movie, if you want."
"No!" Orihime shook her head. "That's alright. Watching it won't make me sad, if that's what you're worried about. It actually makes me very happy."
"Oh." Rukia smiled. "Well in that case, I'm glad I picked it."
"Me too!" Orihime replied with a smile of their own.
A few minutes later, Orihime managed to calm Tatsuki and Chizuru down and the movie was started.
