Dear Gabi,
It is a spectacularly stupid idea to sign up for
100k_supernova when you haven't even finished typing up your big bang or finished writing the gay atonement nonsense you signed up with again for
reel_merlin (neither of which are actually short, btw) or, you know, those kmm fills that are languishing on your hard drive. And then there is the fact that there are a very select few who are probably going to want to sit through 100k of Civil War Arthur/Merlin ridiculousness. Seriously. What were you thinking.
No love,
vesper

So, yes. I signed up for this supernova nonsuch and then promptly pimped it to several different Merlin comms to share the insanity. I am writing (god help me) an American Civil War au because I have been toying with the idea ever since
hermette introduced me to the seriously gorgeous song
Poison & Wine by The Civil Wars. As I explained to
riventhorn back in (I think) December when she didn't actually talk me out of this even a little bit (like she clearly should have), the reason that my head went there instead of anywhere normal was because something about the song (particularly at the end) brings to mind the music used in Civil War documentaries and therefore made me think "Oh. Oh!" (I have such a thing for the Civil War JFC) (Okay, all wars. What this says about me I never want to know.)
RECS! Just a couple because I really need to get back to work.
★ So
lil-lollypop36 drew
Bradley/Colin chibis. The first has a Bradley that pretty much mirrors my face every time she posts a new doodle. The second absolutely killed me.
First:
Biggest Fan Second:
Bradley's Personal Cheerleader There are no words. I think I squeed them all over her journal already. Just, if you haven't seen them already, go now. I'm sure they will at the very least brighten your day. Omg so cute &hearts

We Deserve Much Better Than We've Had finished! You do not understand my love for this! PIRATES, okay! PIRATES! \0/ I have been following this since the prompt was posted because, hello, fantastic prompt! I love that song (Gay Pirates by Cosmo Jarvis. Link to song in prompt) and this was just perfect. Painful and angsty and beautiful and just really fantastic! There are 38 comment parts to read and seriously, do. It is wonderful!
I love pirates. I love anything that takes place on or around ships always. Put something on a ship and I am pretty much guaranteed to adore the pants off of it. Just so you know.
