art rec (+ rl stuff)
So last night I went to see my sister's play. They did The Laramie Project and wow. I mean, I've read the play and seen the movie (several times) but I still cried during the show. It was really quite well done. If there are any of you from or near Fort Worth who suddenly feel inspired to go see a high school play, the play is at R. L. Paschal High School in the Miriam Todd Theatre. Showings are May 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, and 28 at 7:30 p.m. every night and 2:30 p.m. for Saturday matinees. Tickets are $7 for general admission ($5 for students/teachers).

All I Wanna Do Is by neomeruru. Merlin, Arthur WS. This is beautiful. The colors are soft and bright and the likenesses are fantastic. It is gentle and playful and such a beautiful moment between the boys. They look so happy and relaxed it makes my heart ache. I am particularly fond of the background, in this. The mountains, the castle, the clouds, the soft, hazy wildflowers are just gorgeous. It feels like early June. I love it.

It is raining again today and I need to buckle down and get more written for my BB. I also need to finish up a couple beta jobs, so I am going to be pretty much off for the rest of the afternoon/evening. I need to get some things finished before I go see Pirates of the Caribbean (I am SO excited :D) tonight.
