So tomorrow is Villain Day in our homecoming week and I must say that I make a striking Phantom, or will as of tomorrow anyhow. With the rose, red and black velvet cape, sweet ass mask from the movie, and colonial style shirt, I swoon.
Looking at UVA's interdisciplinary major in archeology, it turns out one of the professors is sponsoring major projects and grants focusing on the construction of the Forum at Pompeii. Sounds like a perfect bid for me to slide right into to a) receive an obscure yet delightful major b) get the field and travel experience I need to get a decent head start in gaining experience for a career dealing with ancient European history c) suck up to admissions in my essay in explaining to them that I actually did my investigtory homework and be accepted to UVA..first things first.
