Exactly. Or something worse. It's hard to tell with this place. It never seems to be anything we can prepare for.

Oh yes, it's such a shame we don't have anyone capable of reading minds. No one like that in the entire city, is there darling? Let's face it, at this point, I'm convinced the only one who knows what's going to happen is that woman, and scanning her mind requires two things. One, finding her. Two, making sure that she doesn't have any sort of protection against such a thing that would oh, I don't know, fry the brain of the telepath trying to probe her mind. I've been through a lot of unpleasant things in my time, but having my head explode is something I'd prefer to avoid.

And oh yes, lots of guilt. I try to keep out of certain minds here, but it was almost impossible not to pick up on. I thought only Scott had that much baggage.
