.. How could it not exist? I was just there. [He gets one of those 'aha!' looks on his face.]

Wait, wait, I know what this is- I took too much Med-X, right? I mean, I'm usually really careful, but I must've taken too much right before we left the Citadel. [a sigh] Geez, I really need to snap out of it.

Oh my god oh my god, please be kidding. What the hell? People don't just- I mean, where the heck are we then?? Who the heck dragged my frickin' body from the memorial and dumped me here??

I am not sure what reason I would have to joke about this in the first place. [A pause, he exhales and glances behind him before turning his attention back to the screen.]

That is unknown--the city itself is called Icarus. As it stands, the only residents present are those you see. No one else.

[He takes a deep breath as he listens! And makes efforts to calm down.] Okay! Okay.

We're in a place called Icarus, you have no idea how I got here, and I can't get back to the capitol right now. Spot on so far? So, uhm... what's the good news?

The previous citizens have... vanished.

Aw man..you couldn't have made up something? [A nervous grin]

Lemme guess- no idea who did that either, right? I guess that explains why there's nobody out here, at all.

Ugh, man. [He rubs his face with his hands.] This is really messed up.

Thanks, though. For tellin' me what you could, I mean. [Now that he's chill, he kind of looks around.] So, uhm, one more thing? Where do we, you know.. go from here? I mean, I'm guessing I can't just hike back to where I'm from or you would have done that already, right? Is there somebody in charge or somethin'?

[A nod.] Mm, if it were possible I doubt we would all be in this situation. Did you have a 'dream' before being brought here?

A dream? Uhm.. I don't know. Maybe? It's kind of hard to remember. I was all irradiated and-Oh, crap. I'm probably still full of it. [He slings his bag off his back and starts going through it.] I think I did. I think I was falling? But that might have just been me actually fallin' over from the radiation poisoning, so I dunno for sure. [He pulls out a couple of IV bags labeled RAD-AWAY and closes his pack up again.]

Nevermind then, that discussion may be pointless. [He shakes his head.] What is 'radiation'?

You know - ionizing radiation, when unstable atoms decay and then that energy seeps into everythi-[wait a second] .. What do you mean, 'What is radiation'? Where the heck are you from that you don't know enough to worry about radiation and why aren't you all mutated because of it?

... Oh. [He smiles a little, one of those smiles that says he thinks you've lost it but it's okay 'cause he'll humor you.] Oh, of course. Sorry about that. Well, I guess you won't have to worry about radiation for another 886 years or so.
