NaBloPoMo 2022 - Day 1
Happy November Y’all!
I can’t believe we are already here.
This year has been full on. Actually this weekend alone has been busy.
Friday I went on a small road trip to celebrate Halloween with the bestie and her husband (which turned into a clusterf$ck). We stayed overnight and didn’t get back until after midday on Saturday.
I was meant to rest Saturday during the day and I couldn’t because a friend was upset about a haircut and needed to vent.
Then Saturday night I was meant to do a trial of the makeup I was doing for the wedding I was attending the next day and then I was meant to rest for the night… until my Aunty and cousin made a surprise visit and was at my house all night.
Sunday prepping for the wedding was madness, and the reception was worse because I was joint MC and the bride hadn’t given us any direction at all, two days later my feet are still killing me.
Monday I was “working” from home and spent the day checking my emails and watching 9-1-1.
Today was a public holiday so I got to sleep in a bit, watch more 9-1-1 and nap a bit.
Tomorrow I go back to work and I need more rest.
I can’t wait until work finishes for the year.
