Well, it took me all weekend, but I think I've made it through my birthday sweets! Just a few Chocolate Frogs left, and since I don't know if they go stale or not I'd better eat them soon. (I know I shouldn't open them all at once, but they come with cards! I just have to see what I got! Speaking of, I have a lot of doubles now. Anyone want to ( Read more... )

I think I might have rolled onto one of your creations last night.

I'm very sorry.

Ah, no, that's all right, I'm sure there's somewhere I can get it fixed...

Are you all right? I hope it wasn't a spiky one.

No, I caught it between a sheet and the mattress, so it blunted the impact on my end.

It's still moving, just a little slow... Would that be difficult to repair?

I haven't a clue!

But that seems like it'd be easy to find out.

Would you like me to drop him off to you somewhere?

I wouldn't want you to go out of your way. If you can get him into another box or something I can pick him up at dinner, I guess...I'm also in the common room a lot.

It's alright, the sooner the better. It's not pleasant watching the poor thing hobble about.

I can bring him down to the common room before bed.

Oh dear.

I'll be there to pick him up! Thanks very much, and I'm sorry for the trouble.

It's not a problem.

It's a curious creation, in any case.

Aren't they neat? They're going to be pieces for a game. Assuming I can figure out how to keep them on their squares....

A game, you say?

...perhaps you could manage a variation of the locomotion charm, to allow the dragon movement only within the boundaries of the square?

It's just a project I've been working on, nothing too fancy. Motivation to get through my schoolwork, I suppose.

A variation might work, that's true! Charms aren't my strongest suit...maybe I should look in the library.

I might have a charms book I use for spells for building that might have something.

I could bring it with the dragon, if you would like to borrow it.

Really? That sounds perfect, thank you so much!

I'll take care of it, I promise, and return it quickly. What do you build?

Take your time, I should have everything I need from that volume for the time being.

I try to focus on whatever seems useful at the time. My current work is a tracking ring, but I am having some problems with a charm myself, actually.

Oh, that does seem useful! I'm afraid I've never built a single useful thing....silly, huh? If I like crafty things I should make something worth making!
