joanne511 and her husband (Jason) got
raelynnplemel (my wife) and I a 'home brew kit' (with all the fixings) for our birthdays... it's all pretty rad and got me brain stormin' many a wacky idea... first on my mind is this...
...so, now, here's multiple disclaimers... the Marathon Maniacs "Main Maniac" logo I used on that label is with out permission (I figure IF I actually do this I could write for permission, especially since there would be no $ to be made off of using it)... second, the idea is to hold a 50K and have bottles of this be the finishers award (and 22oz bottles for the first place men and women), that's just a far off, distant dream of an idea right now... currently all the brewing equipment is unused and untested... finally I could scrap this whole idea in a heart beat 'cause that's the way I am :-)

jonyoon, the idea would be to not tell folks what the finisher award would be until they actually finished, so you know, if I throw a race together in the next year that mentions a 'secret' finishers award, consider yourself one of the few 'in the know'... ;-)
