Bastard!
Here's something that drives me crazy: clicking a link from an e-mail and having it go from the LJ update page to its own page, thus getting rid of one's in-progress update. Blah. In my defense, I am absolutely exhausted. And can I go to sleep? Nope.
Things I Need To Do:
-write concert review
-practice French exposé
-post on Blackboard for history class
-eat dinner
-read 88 pages of Merk for history class
It's not much, except for that last bit, but I reeeeeeally want to go to sleep. Fall break completely fucked up my sleeping habits so I've been going to bed at 11ish instead of 10ish. To those of you who don't already know: I joined the crew team afterall, thus relinquishing any shred of a social life I might have once had. Also, all the freshmen on the Terrace think I'm pretty much the lamest Sophomore ever. Oh, and the 4.0 GPA which I probably could've gotten in my sleep has now become a faint dream, since I really don't have a lot of time to do homework.
So why the hell am I updating LJ???? I guess because I'm just too damn tired to do anything else.
(what do you think: am I grumpy much?)
Just Some Random Things:
01. "Til Kingdom Come" is a pretty awesome song.
02. Seeing My Morning Jacket perform "Northern Sky" was way cooler.
03. The weather this past week has SUCKED ASS. Ergo, I miss Cali that much more.
04. Three papers and three midterms in the next two weeks=major suckitude.
05. I have three or four blisters to pop (I've been putting it off all day).
06. FYI, boyfriend situation=an unresolved situation. Hmmmm....
07. I kind of miss being a happy, carefree freshman.
08. A third awesome song: "Red Right Ankle" by the Decemberists
09. I could definitely go for some Zelda or Mario Kart or 007 right now.
10. I WANT TO GO TO SLEEEEEEEEEP!!!
Okay, so plan of attack: go to dinner with Jonathan (*rolls eyes*), try not to swoon if I see the hot track runner who is apparently also pretty much a dick, come back and work on my exposé, brush teeth, post to blackboard...yes. I can do it. And if I can get through the next 18 hours I will be all set.
(Note: I promise to write more interesting, less self-absorbed things in the future.*)
