Summer Vacation, Day 1

Dear Diary*,

Right now I am in Palmyra, PA (mapquest!) which is where my good friend Johanna lives with her mother, brother, dog, and six cats. Yes, folks, that's right, six cats. They're all quite darling though (mother and brother included!) and I like it here a lot. Everything is so peaceful and unrushed and manageable.

I'm assuming you meant to say that it was ridiculous that no one got higher than an A-, and well, yeah, I think that's pretty much what happened. If you, Johanna, Mike, or I didn't get a solid A, I don't really know of anyone else who might have.

Then again, there's probably *someone*.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaall summer, actually. Just as soon as I get back there on Tuesday. :-)

Therefore, if you make it up to NorCal at any point, you should let me know and we can get together or something.

And you're not necessarily the horrible person here. I could just as easily gone to South Side to see you soooo... :-)

sorry to sounds like a mom but I'm so proud of you! I was talking to one of the freshman who was in my orientation group and got a little emotional about the fact that it was the end of his freshman year. it's a big accomplishment, usually a pretty hard time...seems like you had it pretty good, but i'm sure there were difficult times. sounds you're doing just what needs to be done after finals, RELAX! I can't wait til tomorrow when I'll be done and able to hang out with Claire and my aunt who drove down today!!! I got to have dinner but then was dropped off at the library. I'm getting there though and sleep will be had this evening, albeit not as much as you most likely.
Email me sometime, you promised you would and now you have no excuse!
