It's quite unfortunate when your own step-mother doesn't know what 'kosher' means, even after the woman was married to your Jewish father for ten years.
Oh well. One more Christmas dinner down. I'd complain about having to celebrate a holiday that is irrelevant to me, but if I were to bring up Chanukah, she'd want to see me for 8 nights, instead of one.
