All in all, Pam thought the party had come together pretty well.
Having gotten Ianto's permission, she'd set up something nice in the Hub, Chuck had helped with the food, and most everyone had pitched in a little. It had also looked like no one had told Jim about it, which was confirmed when he got there. He was good, but she didn't think he could really fake being surprised like that. Seeing him just made this whole idea seem totally worth the effort, even more than it had already. After he'd thrown her a party back on her birthday, she wanted him to be able to have the same now. He deserved it.
Now, with everything all done, she wandered around the small group of people, a smile in place. It wasn't just Jim she wanted to make sure was having a good time; it was everyone else.
