There were, undoubtedly, a lot of weird things about the island, but no matter how much she'd been told about, Pam doubted that anything could have prepared her for waking up as a kid again. She'd calmed down about it, mostly, by the time she got to the Compound, but to say that it had been freaky to discover would have been a total understatement. Now that she was getting used to it, inasmuch as she was able, it wasn't so bad, though. She'd just have to take other people's words for it and count on the fact that it would pass in a day or two. If it didn't, she was pretty sure she'd have to reconsider her stance on the whole thing. There was no way she wanted to be stuck like this for good.
Having headed to the kitchen, she was seated at a table, little hands wrapped around a mug of tea she'd had to have someone get for her and bare feet swinging back and forth inches off the floor. She wasn't about to let Halloween go by uncelebrated, but she was a little too busy trying to adjust to how young she was to want to do battle with the clothes box yet. There was plenty of time left to do that still, and it wasn't like the box was going to run out of costumes, as she'd seen some people in already, anytime soon.
