We all knew this would happen sooner or later. While I cannot say that I wanted it to happen now and not later, there is a strange sense of calm now amidst all the chaos. The time is now. Not one week from today or one month or one year, but now. Today.
Today is the day we ceased being citizens of the wizarding world and started coming into our own. We have begun. Now is the time when we step up and assume the role that has been waiting for us for nearly eighteen years. There is no choice. There is no option for inactivity. Either you are for him or against him.
Wands are being snapped. People are being held hostage or killed if they resist. Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley have been taken. It's only a matter of time before they branch out and seek to gain more ground. What are you going to do? Where are you going to go? People are coming here to gather. The Floo has been going non-stop and I'm not sure how much longer it will be open.
They may have the element of surprise, but that won't give them leverage for much longer. There are those of us who are going to fight, and I know that we do not intend to lose.
