Well after my last entry, I had told myself I wouldn't update this again until internet was up and running at my house. Mind you, I also thought I'd have it by the end of November. Alas, I have yet to get it still. So I decided to finally give you this brief (or not-so-brief, depending on how much I feel like typing) update of my life.
Since Novermber, I have met new friends. One of them, Ashley, goes to Spring Arbor University and she's a cool kid. Before I met her she'd only been to Denny's once... Needless to say, that problem has been taken care of. =P
Another, Kelly, goes to JCC and I've not been able to hang out with her as much. She doesn't live just 5 or 10 minutes away though, so there's good reason. But when we did hang out, we went sledding and hung out at my house, and I heard all about her Hayden Christensen obsession, lol.
Both of them are really awesome. =D
As for the Christmas season, I'm quite enjoying it this year. I mean I'm not usually against it or anything, but I always end up feeling really bad kuz I never have a lot of money to buy gifts for my closer friends, but only my family. This time I was able to get things for my dad, mom, brother and sister, as well as Jason, Pat, Justin, Sam, Amber, Emily, Alicia, Kelly, and Ashley. I'm happy about all that. =)
Morfulax.
Jace gave one of his gifts to me early: Dragon Quest VIII for PS2. It's a great game as far as I can tell, but I'm only 20 or 25 hours into it. I'm still a ways from the end. It's made by SquareEnix, so it is not much of a surprise that I like it as much as I do. Add that with the character designs of Akira Toriyama and actual good voices for the characters, I'm lovin it.
JUSTIN IS HOME!!!
Yesterday I went and took Jason, Andrew, Eric and Pat with me as I followed Trisa Fairchild to the Metro Airport in Detroit to meet Justin as he flew in from Arizona. Damn, it's great to see that kid. I didn't get to see him off in the summer because I was at camp, so I'm stoked about hangin out with him.
Actually, right now I'm at D Ops with him, and the whole lot I just mentioned, minus Eric. He had work. I'm enjoying myself.
And speaking of friends I haven't seen in a while, Sam's gonna be bak soon too. He should arrive late Thursday night, and I'm going to his shindig on Friday afternoon/evening. That should be really fun. I'm looking forward to it.
Emily and I have been hanging out a lot lately, and it's awesome. We have similar sleep schedules, and have not been tied down by school or jobs, so it's pretty neat. I love the fact that if I'm bored at like 1 in the morning, I can usually call her up and say "Hey, let's do something." Whether that means walk around Meijer, get some Dunkin Donuts, hang out at one of our houses, or chill at Denny's. She's a fabulous person.
And on the topic of Denny's, I went to a White Elephant party at Liz and Desiree's apartment last Wednesday. If you don't know what a White Elephant party is, it's basically where you take something that you already own, awesome or lame, and wrap it up and take it for a gift exchange. I ended up gettting Liz's copy of Carmen Electra's Aerobic Striptease! YEA!! haha. Twas amusing to say the least.
I really miss having the internet at home. I haven't talked to Megan or Renee or so many others very recently because I haven't had the net. I don't usually have much of a chance to talk to them on the phone either, kuz I'm either not home, or it's after midnight and too late to call. It's sad.
Amber and I went to Farmington Hills the other day for a Short Notice concert. That was a lot of fun. Short Notice is a Christian screamo band, and they're actually really awesome. One of Amber's good friends, Ry Breadington, is in the band, and he as well as the other members are really cool. We all went to Big Boy after the concert, and it was a blast. Amber and I rocked out on the way home, just being our stupid selves and enjoying it. I'm gonna miss that girl so much when she moves.
New Years is just around the corner, everyone!! In case you haven't seen my most recent entry for the last month and a half, I expect you all to be at my party, for at LEAST five minutes or so. You know it'll be fun. ;) I promise!!
Aaaaaaaaaand I think that's all I have to say for now.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
