At Pat's house again, I am.
Camping this past weekend was a blast! Amber, Ashley and I (and for a while, Pat) were "roughing it" from Friday til Sunday. That is to say, we went out to a campgrounds, slept in a tent, made and sat around a camp fire, and spent almost half of our weekend in Jackson still. Hahaha. We came bak for the Hope For August show at the Thunderbird on Saturday night, which was really kewl. That was the first time I had heard them, and they rock. I got their Path to Orion cd, as well as their new cd/dvd set they had there. Anyway, I also hung out with Kelley, Amanda, Ashlee (by the way, your pic should be e-mailed to you soon), and a couple others that I haven't seen a lot lately. Twas fun. Oh, and if you know who MySpace Jason is, he's my new buddy. Rawk.
Amber is fun as hell to hang out with.
So there are two new additions to my house now. My cousin Désirée and her almost-nine-month-old baby Kaitlin are staying at our place for a while. That baby is actually really cute, but she craves attention a lot. She'll "cry" and "cry" and "cry" (with no tears) until you pick her up and play with her... or until the cat distracts her. Haha.
Amber totally explained to me yesterday how to do an LJ cut, but then I immediately x'ed the box when she went to bed. Oops. If anyone would be so kind as to comment with that information, I'd appreciate it. That way I won't lose it! =)
I should go home now. Dad wants me for working today, and I told him last night that I'd be in around... 1ish in the morning. *shrugs* I'll wake up Pat when I'm done with this and we'll head out.
My room is coming along, slowly but surely. The drywall is all torn down, the nails are all pulled, and yesterday I took out the carpet. Yay! No more cat-piss-stained carpet on my floor!! I'm excited. When my room is all done, it's going to be so much better. An actual window. A new carpet. New walls. The little areas that the cats crawl around in will be sealed off so they can't get into my room unless I let them, through my new DOOR. =D (extremely excited) It's gonna be good.
Hehe... I might be going to my cousin's party this Friday for his party. He turns 21 (I think), and if you know my cousin Tom, you'll know what kinda stuff's happening there. Yay.
Anyway, I should be moving right along now. So yea, I'm glad I made an actual entry again!
