"Paris, you pretty boy!"
Omg. First exam....my Iliad re-sit, which I am going to fail...miserably. I know this because it begins in 3 hours and 26 minutes and I am on here writing this instead of revising. But...I've been thinking and really I don't know why I said I'd do this because I already have a good B for the AS...I just wanted the A I guess...I wanted the Kleos! But, whilst reading through the very helpful notes of the genius Lil' Em I have realised I remember very little about the actual Iliad. I remember the odd quotation - "Paris you pretty boy..." etc. Also, a fair bit about why I think Homer wanted everyone to think that Achilles and Patroclus were a couple but nothing that would form a substantial essay of intelligent Iliad goodness that would earn me and A. So...a B it is then.
In other news...I'm tired. Not just a little sleepy as one tends to be on a Monday morning. But...exhausted. I barely managed to throw myself out of bed this morning and even then I tried crawling back into it twice after that. *sigh* I think I over-did it this half term, I felt like I've been running around here, there and everywhere. Not that it hasn't been fun, it's been awesome but really...I should have thought this through! I think this week will definately be an easier week of staying in and revising. *nods*
Thorpe Park was awesome! The rides were fun but they don't really compare to Disneyworld which is what I was doing all day...I did miss the Bubble Works though lol. Nemesis Inferno was by far the best, especially when you're right at the front...it feels like you are going to crash into everything! Lunch was amazing...probably the most expensive way I've ever made myself feel sick! I didn't really get to spend all that much time with Leigh...or even Rich whose birthday it was for that matter (not that I was really expecting to) but I just thought it was a bit sad. Hung about with Princess though, and Mike which was a little weird but cool none-the-less.
Got back ok but it was a bit of a struggle...UMA did so well though! Yay her! And then everyone was far too tired to go onto Vix party so we stayed at Rich's. Bless her though apparently not too many of the people she invited showed up, which makes me feel guilty, but I did text her to explain what had happened. I'm sure she still had a good night and I'm sure Caz feels justice has been done lol.
It was an interesting night in which I realised...I love Blanche lol. It's true...I have to admit I was a bit wary of her at first, I guess just because I didn't really know her, but now...I think she's the sweetest little thing! She had a bit of a bust-up with her friend Becky and for some reason unknown to me, the boys (especially Leigh) jumped to Becky's defense. But Blaz was really upset and I can't believe they just dismissed it as her being silly...I freakin hate that. Anyways, me and Caz talked to her...because we're fetch, and now I really like her lol. She totally understands. And she works at Farming World!
Anyways...I should really really revise...is Kim retaking this exam? If she is - YAY! I will ses her shortly! Ugh, I have to work after...I wonder if she'd let me start early? Right...revising, revising, revising....
