Chocolate Birthday Monkey
Oki, so today may not have been the best of days but it's turned out kinda cool.
I went into work early this morning, I started at 10 instead of 1 so that I could ask Leigh if he wanted to hang out at mine for a while tonight. He texts me saying that'd be cool so I text him back asking him to come about 3. So I wait...and I wait...and I wait and he doesn't show. So I text him again to ask him what's up and he says he didn't get a text saying what time to come so he's arranged to have dinner with his mum and sister. I was not amused. But he said he'll come round after work tomorrow. But the whole thing upset me quite a lot because 1. I'm over-emotional at the moment anyway and 2. He keeps letting me down. =(
Yeah, so I was feeling a bit down and then Lou and Lizzii randomly show up at my door because Lou passed her driving test! It was awesome, just what I needed! We hung out talking about the really odd, fun stuff that we like to talk about and looking at old photos...and me and liz devoured this chocolate monkey that she bought me for my birthday last year...it was nice, messy, but nice.
It was so good to see them and hang out with them, I really wish we did it more...perhaps now that both of them can drive we can go out together more. I miss them. I want to spend as much time as I can with them while I still have the chance.
