I'm not sure any of my friends do this, but I know my brother does:
If you're the type to roll through town with your bass thumping at very loud levels, please be a little considerate when you're around populated areas (basically anywhere with buildings). Downtown may be a lot of businesses, but there are also residential apartments above those businesses... and if I can hear your bass up here and it's giving me a headache, it's also probably killing your hearing. So please turn it down!
