yesterday my dad told poke his head around the corner of my room and said, "i think its about time that we go bike shopping."

bikes bikes bikes! they might be my favorite thing besides batman.
in other news: im not sure how i feel about this coming school year. im definitely not as excited as i probably should be for my last year of high school. maybe its because ever since ive been in high school most of the friends that ive had were either a grade or two older than i was. i fed off of their excitement when the end of the year came around just to remember that i had to come back in 3 months. i think ive developed a coping mechanism by teaching myself not to get excited by anything that happened to my about to be graduated friends and through that im not allowing myself to be excited when my turn finally comes around. maybe im thinking/worrying too much about how im supposed to be feeling when i know that the best years of your life definitely come after high school (whoever said that high school was the best years of your life must have died very very young).
someone please help me enjoy my last year of high school!!!
