In other news...
-writing project is due this Friday and I officially have 71 pages after I revised the intro and have added on my essay about being trapped in various airports/airplanes for over 50 hours. It's still not 100% finished. I have about three more pages I need to add to the airports essay, which takes it up to 74 pages.
Technically we're supposed to have 80 pages, but you know what? This is a good manuscript. At least 2 of the essays in the collection are publishable after a bit of reworking. This is the most writing I've ever produced in such a short period of time (20 weeks).
-Sam and Gail are coming to Columbus tomorrow. At least they'll get to see Otterbein before I leave here FOREVER.
-I calculated my grades. If I get all As this quarter I can graduate magma cum lade. I already know I'm getting "departmental honors" (maintaining at least a 3.7 in the major). All I get is a silly pin to wear on my gown.
I also got an email saying I won something at this year's writing awards, which is IMPROBABLE because all I submitted was one essay. Oh well, this means I at least won $25, which is the prize amount for 3rd place winners. I have already decided it is going into my new tattoo fund.
