Sometimes I'm a horribly bitter person. But sometimes I'm not and I still click on horoscope links that promise a forecast for my love life this year. This is the gist of what mine said for the year:
Through finding more creative ways to express yourself, your love life will blossom as well. This shift helps you become more comfortable with a loving and philosophical relationship, and your connection becomes closer. Your desire to prioritize a love relationship deepens. Although in the past you were proud of your individuality, you're realizing the importance a love relationship beyond just yourself and your immediate family.
SORRY. NOT HAPPENING. I like all that talk about individuality. Can we go back to that?
As you learn to give yourself to another and have your relationship deepen, it helps you break through any discriminating attitudes toward relationships, and to have more confidence in your process. As you continue to accept yourself and enjoy life, you no longer feel the pressure to perform. The peaceful knowing inherent in your love relationship brings deeper meaning to being together, and the relationship brings you abounding joy.
OKAY. I do have issues with relationships. Name me one 21 year old American girl who DOESN'T?
You have abundant optimism and broad appreciation about your relationship. In the autumn, you may be drawn to marriage, as you begin to really understand and embrace the joy of having someone close to you.
LULZ. No. Just no. I can agree with some points of this horoscope. Yes, I need to be a nicer person. Yes, I need to be more open to people. Yes, I should stop being so self-centered and think about my family and friends more often. But if I look back at this entry in the fall of 2009 and I'm actually considering marrying someone/actually enjoy having someone "close" to me (this probably will not happen, either), I will eat all my words. Until then I will remain a happy bachelorette/single lady who will not put her hand up (despite how insanely catchy that song is).
Actually, I think I'll ask my roommate Kristina to do a tarot for me on this subject. Her readings are usually pretty fair/nearly true.
IN OTHER NEWS...
-I am going back to Otterbein tomorrow. FINALLY.
-I saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button last night. I highly reccomend it! Also, I was never a huge fan of Brad Pitt, but he's fantastic in this movie. Also, when he's on a sail boat he looks like he's made of sex and magic.
-First Senior Writing Project meeting on Monday at noon. I have 8 pages. I am so disappointed in myself!
