motivational/personal statements
So, uh, I'm writing motivational statements for the next couple of months. Here's a list of organizations/MFA programs that require them. Bold=what I would really, really love.

Have any of you had to write one of these awful, stressful, worrisome essays? I found an example of someone's motivational statement that got them into the Peace Corps online on this blog. Not nearly as high quality as I expected, but hey, I always put too much pressure on myself.
Also, I'm slowly printing out stuff from my old journal so I can delete it and have a hard copy of essentially my entire high school/early college life. Frightening!
