"safety's on"
for the first time i ever i went to a shooting range with jayme and david. i must say it was a shit load of fun. i've never shot a gun before and it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. i was a little nervous at first cuz ive never really heard a gun being shot, except for that time when i slept over at davids but thats another story, but i got used to it as well as the whole reloading process. we only had 2 shotguns and the guy at the range let us shoot one fo his guns so that was kewl. it was a 22 if i remember correctly. one of the shotguns was davids and the other was jayme's dad. it was one of those old skool shotguns. it was fuckin sweeet.
shooting the 22 was fun. u get to look through the scope and shoot that paper guy in the head. there was also sum little rotating device made of steal or lead or w/e the fuck that when u shoot it, it spins. trick was to shoot at the tip so it really spun. wasnt able to do it though but i hit it nonetheless.
the shotguns were loads of fun. one hell of a fuckin kick those magnum shells have. those were the ones we shot the most. we took turns using 'em but then jay's dad's gun, got fucked up by one of the magnum shells being shot out. it was out of commission so we just used davids after that. that thing got hot as fuck and it didnt help that we were out in the sun as well. despite the heat though, we had an awesome fuckin time.
today was one of those days that im never gonna forget. the drive, wal-mart, the what, the clothes im wearin, cherry coke and all that other shit. im glad i was able to do this today. ive always wanted to shoot a gun and i wouldnt mind doing it again after today. i guess its like getting a tattoo. u get one, ur gonna want more
