when will we learn?
can you ever guess, from the moment that someone walks into your life, that they are going to change it? Because when Erin walked through the door of cell 32, I never would have guessed. At that point, I thought she was shyer than i am. I wasn't sure how easy she would be to talk to, how open she would be or anything. Now, its nearing the end of the quarter, and every day we work out, tell our stories, chat back and forth during the day in our shared cubicle... and i am amazed. Its funny, because I'm sure my friendship doesnt mean as much to her as hers does to me. But she has totally turned my life upside down this quarter. She gave me friends to see during the week, someone to chat with everyday, a workout buddy. Even though I have only known her a short time, she is someone I really trust. It's odd, isnt it? how that happens? i wonder.. after 4 weeks from now.. if I'll ever see her again. i certainly hope so
