My book sale this year was in a different venue: It moved out of our garage and into the back room of the local second-hand bookshop. The usual cast of characters were there (from our 'Abbey Girls' book collecting group, and like-minded collectors of old-fashioned children's books) and there seemed to be plenty of books.
There were a few very collectible titles sold and - frustratingly - some left unsold. We're mostly quite 'old' in our collecting life and many of us have good collections so need very little to upgrade them. What we need is newbies with long wants lists to come and make the most of the hard-to-find books at exceptionally low prices.

After the sale was all packed away and finished we had a short rest at home before heading out to Sue's to have a meal and a catch up with Jackie and Marianne before they left for Wellington.
