Miscellaneous Purchases

The Elizabeth Peters are to fill in the gaps on the Vicki Bliss series. The Brennan and the Foxe were things that sounded good while I was wandering about some children's / YA book blogs.
I'd had a thought that I might try some of Carola Dunn's other books, maybe even her Regency romances. These ones look like they've been reprinted with nifty new cover art and are a series of three so they looked like a good group to trial.
The Jessica Day George was a response to reading Tuesdays at the Castle which I loved! Every time I find a book like this I am reminded that though I read YA and some grown up stuff, my real preference is for that just-younger-than-YA stuff. The 10 - 13 age group. Anyway, since I liked Tuesdays at the Castle so much I've bought the next in the series and the first in the author's other two series.
These have mainly been bought through the Book Depository which in itself is a fun thing to do as they send the books in individual padded envelopes and the mail 'system' makes them appear over a week to 10 days. Going to the letter box will be a heap more interesting in a couple of weeks.
