Today I discovered I could easily get back to the start of my time on LJ. It was a bit like unearthing a time capsule as my first post, in April 2005, met with welcomes from the following LJ users:

Time moves on and the group we were all in together is long since closed down and only one of the crowd who convinced me to get a LiveJournal account is still a regular here.
A bit sad we're not all still in touch but it was super fun in its heyday.
