^_____^ Yeah, that's one of the trickiest balancing points of a three way relationship, isn't it? Because everybody's got some reason they feel like they don't fit in with the others, and (unless they're Zack) they can sometimes get self-conscious and unhappy until they figure out how they DO belong together...

I think Ginny and Harry have got better reasons, though. Draco's still, when it all comes down to it, a bit of a prat. ^_~

Draco is most definitely a self-centered jerk! He wouldn't be Draco if he weren't. *grin* On the other hand, he does have a point about Harry's "clearly, every problem is my responsibility and I must fix them alone" attitude (which is not omnipresent, but crops up often enough to be an issue in any relationship).

Must see if I can clarify that before I post the unified and organized ficlet collection.

*pets the three* Draco... ah, wonderful Draco. Still a self-centered twit at times. But the others love him none the less.

So cute how they are all a bit uncomfortable, but so true as well. I just have this image of Harry trying to not headwall when he has them out in the Muggle world, or Draco sneersighing at them, or Ginny just rolling her eyes at boytalk. So much fun.

I think most people of Muggle background must get thoroughly frustrated with purebloods now and then. Purebloods (even tolerant ones like the Weasleys) seem to have a bone-deep conviction that their world/society is the best one, and therefore don't shut up and observe the regular world in unobtrusive, productive ways. It's like all the idiots who think people of other races (or nationalities, or linguistic backgrounds, or with disabilities) are slightly deaf and stupid, and therefore won't notice if they do anything that doesn't quite fit in.

Which is probably the point, come to think of it, but man, running up against those brick walls can get tiring after a while.

A clever comparison.

Clever? Really? The comparisons seem fairly obvious to me, but then again, I don't know that I have much perspective left on this threesome after working on this project for a year. *is a touch brain-fried*

ooohhh love. ♥ I love the repeated themes and structures. prrr. And nice choice of "this is where i'm different from you two".

... I kinda want to see Harry dragging them through a muggle city in an actual scene now. XD But not especially a comical scene, just a ... "we need to get through here and run to -- okay, stop pointing at people already, we're in a hurry!" kinda way... i'm not expressing myself all that well XD;;

Someday I will probably manage to work a scene like that (characters may vary) into some story. Unless I drift out of the HP fandom first, which is... far from impossible, actually. I'm already disconnected from everything but writing and reading the occasional fic, and while it might be a wrench to quit writing about characters I've invested so much time in, I have more than enough other ideas (fandom and original) to keep me busy for years. *melancholy sigh*
