Summary: Naruto and Neji have a conflict of interests.
It had been a long day for Naruto, Neji, and Hinata, and the trio had decided to sleep earlier than usual. Luckily, Naruto had a bed sizable enough for three, especially since they had a tendency to end up wrapped up with each other. Tonight was not different, with Hinata sandwiched between her two men, back pressed firmly against Neji's chest and arms locked around Naruto's shoulders. Neji had his arms around her middle, and Naruto rested his hand gently on Neji's waist. Or, at least, did for a while. Slowly over the course of the night, it had slid down lower until his palm was directly on Neji's rear.
Neji was less than pleased with this.
"...Naruto," he muttered, careful not to wake Hinata.
"Mmm?" was the sleepy reply.
"Your hand."
"Whattabout it?"
"It's on my ass."
A pause.
"Didn't think you'd mind."
Another pause. Normally, Neji wouldn't, it's true. God knows Naruto's hands had been there enough over the years, along with just about every other part of his body.
"I'm trying to sleep, Naruto."
"'M not stoppin' you."
Neji sighed.
"You're squeezing it, Naruto."
"...Sorry."
He stopped after one last squeeze, and Neji managed to sleep again.
And despite what Naruto says, he was imagining that pinch, damn it.
