Day 1: March 18
Day one. I woke up on the beach, wet and sandy, as though I'd been lying there for quite some time. My last memory is of being in a cell in Castle with Chuck. It's possible the CIA is behind this, but I doubt it. This is unlike any government project I've ever heard of.
This place seems, and feels... real. It's a real city. But I don't know where on Earth it could exist without anyone ever having heard of it. The climate suggests a temperate zone, and it feels like spring, which makes sense, as I remember it being late April.
The people here have so far been friendly. They claim to be from a variety of times and places. So far I've spoken with Luigi Mario, who says he's from the year 1992; Shura, who says she's from Japan and is some sort of teacher; and a man who claims his planet is a disc. Or rather the Disc, whatever that means. My roommate's name is Bill Costigan. He's a police officer. My things just appeared in his apartment, and my name's on the mailbox next to his. Like somebody was expecting me.
So far, there appears to be no consensus amongst the inhabitants as to the nature of this place or how any of us arrived here.
