Here we go again!
Another year, another November, another month of chaos and plotbunnies stalking you and waking you from sleep. And you ask, am I ready? Am I ready to do this all over again? My answer is: YES, you're damn right I'm ready! I am ready for the madness to ensue and violently take over my life again :)
Since last year, there have been a lot of changes in my life. I have gotten married to my love of 8 yrs, gotten a new and wonderful job, moved out of our apartment into a house, and just found out the wonderful news that we are expecting our first child in April of next year! This will definitely cause some distractions in the whole NaNo process, and my husband thinks I am even more insane for participating at time like this. I'm sure my pregnancy hormones will bring on some interesting ideas to my new novel.
As of now, I have a rough plot idea. Okay, I take that back. I really have no idea as to the actual plot of the novel, but I know that it will be semi SciFi-ish and involve a myriad of carnival/sideshow freaks that travel to small Midwestern towns. Among the characters will be a mermaid girl, Siamese twins that despise each other, and a transvestite named Suiki.
And as for the rest of the novel, I figure I'll just wing it this time ;)
