Finally, another moment to myself. It's been a while since I could just collect my thoughts and get some things off my chest.
Life as Soutaichou is busy work, indeed. I was already unofficially handling some of this, but now the floodgates are open. All the divisions are captained again and their autonomy is coming to a close, so reports are going berserk on me. I think I'm going to need to start giving out promotions to promising unseated members to the 20th seats, and likely fill in a few vacant single-digit spots to get some more hands on deck.
On the subject of the captain promotions, I'm still a bit sore about Muguruma-san's disqualification. I believe Shuuhei-san will be will be a wonderful captain, certainly, but I think he and all the other new captains agree, what happened was unfair. Soul Society needs to get used to the idea that the Vaizard are our allies, and this is a big step backward for them. Yadoumaru-san, Kuna-san, and Muguruma-san have been immense help to us recently, and their repayment is scorn and outright hostility. Even Otoribashi-san has been, at least, no threat.
On the subject of Vaizard, there is something I'd like to say to you all first: Kurosaki-san has decided he would like me to remove his veil of secrecy and make it known that he, too, is one of them. I don't know all the details for certain, it's something I want to sit him down and talk about, but in the early days of being a Shinigami, he gained an inner Hollow. I've known this for several weeks now, but at his request and assurance that he would not be a threat, I did not speak of it. With them being of such importance lately, he feels he should not have his condition divulged in a way he cannot control.
There's more I want to say, but Norima-san is at my door with a large stack of papers and looks half-panicked. I'd best go.

Since things are settling down, shall we go and visit Shiba-san this weekend? I remember you wanted to get a gift for Ise-kun, and he recently let me know that Urahara-san is on standby and dearly wishes to see me soon.
