So you find older women annoying with their questions. LOL!!!! Yes I met that breed, strange women really, I always wonder about people like that. Why are they in a class any class.

I'd stand up here and scream sexism and agism, except it usually is older women who need a map and a flashlight to finish their projects---and yes, we must have a finished piece at the end of the class that looks identical to the teacher's.

I think these are the same people who think of art as competitive, and that there's some sort of definite finishing line that must be crossed. They don't get process, they don't get exploring their own creativity within some loose boundaries provided by today's project---they just get I finished first and mine looks just like yours.

It just gives me a headache...

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, because this isn't the first time i have felt this way in art classes.

I get off moreso on the theory, or the creatve way to use an obect, than the finished product. Hell I finished two, and had a third one on the way....
