My 17 lb Mein Coon feline friend: Mr. Phat Borris is grounded. Indefinately.
As a treat, I allow him to sit in the window sill at odd hours, and if he's good, he's allowed out on a leash in the back yard for various periods of time. Mr. Phat Borris LOVES to watch the world pass, AND he LOVES being outdoors. All privledges have been REVOKED.
About a month ago, he was outside, tied up, and held a meeting in the back-yard with other neighborhood felines, as well as what I am assuming ferrals. The meeting didn't go so well.
He's on a leash, because the fucker has a way of "wondering" off. Also, and this is good as time as any-he is front declawed. He came that way. Therefore his only self-defense mechinism is to sit on his prey.
I'm concerned for his saftey, over his comfort.
Last night, around 3:30 a.m., Mr. Phat Borris, went APE SHIT in the front window, with screaming, hissing, and aray of noise. When approached, he started yelling at me (which didn't go over well), and in the midst of trying to close the window, and take care of the situation, he got his paw stuck in the window. Don't ask.
As much as I would like to become the neighborhood cat lady, that isn't my game. Secondly, I'm more concerned of his saftey, if he ended up getting into a brawl with some of the local strays.
MR. Phat Borris Esq. the first. is GROUNDED.
